A lot is going on at RHS with Valentines day approaching and all. People are running to the stores, buying cards and chocolate for that special person. Here's an idea for your sweetheart if you have run out of ideas. The Galleon has come up with the idea to make Valentine grams that you can purchase in the cafeteria. What happens is you go and pay a dollar, and you get to create a small valentine with whatever message you want in it. Plus you receive a free copy of this upcoming paper. It's a good idea to buy the paper regardless of if you want a Valentine gram or not, because you might have gotten one and don't even know it. The deadline for buying the yearbook is approaching extremely fast, so go pre-order your 2010-2011 yearbook for RHS! The last day to purchase yearbooks at the preorder price of $75 is February 25. Please visit smart-pay.com and order your 2011 yearbook. Tutoring will begin this Friday with math help from Mu Alpha Theta in the front conference room. Tutoring takes place on Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:00 - 8:35. Also, all subject tutoring is starting next week after school to 4:30. Contact Ms. Moore, Room 4310 for more information. Senior Panoramic picture day is approaching on Tuesday February 15th, at 8:55 in the gym. Information on Grad Bash, Prom, Project Graduation, Sr. Exam Schedule in May and Sr. Pool Party will be given during the meeting. Make plans to attend. This week is National Literacy Week. If you are "caught" reading anywhere in the school during lunch, etc. you will be enterned in a pool for a prize that will be awarded at the end of the week. See Mrs. Shoemaker in the library for more information. Wednesday is dress like your favorite author/book character day! Dress up like your favorite author or book character and let people know about who you are and what you like about them. The last day for free dental scans is on 1/26/11, 8pm-5pm at Viera Health Department. See the Rockledge High School homepage for more information on qulaifications. Any students intersted in taking BCC classes this spring should meet with their councelors immediately for entry test dates.
