Newspaper Name Winner: Jordan MaahsMonday, March 28, 2011 By Tim Lake
The winning name of our school newspaper contest was from Jordan Maahs. I asked him how he came up with that name. He said, “I just put two words that sounded good together.” Jordan also entered the UHS Universe. Jordan came to Underwood at the beginning of this school year. He is in speech, track, Bye Bye Birdie, choir, and school plays. The classes Jordan is in are journalism, web page design, pre calculus, strength and conditioning, choir, 2-D art, and sociology. His advice to everyone is that life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you might get. |
