Senior in the Spotlight p { margin-bottom: 0.08in; } This month's Senior in the Spotlight is Kadie Dugger . Miss Dugger was born April 16 th , 1993 to parents Rick and Missy Dugger. Kadie has one younger sister named Sadie who is in the 8th grade. Kadie's hobbies include hanging out with friends, going to sporting events, and dressing up for football and basketball games. One of Kadie's favorite things to do is play volleyball, “ I love the game, both playing competitively and just for fun.” said Kadie. A few of Kadie's best friends are Haley Watson, Shaun Anderson, and Dani Chronister and she says her favorite memory is, “Any time spent with my friends and family. I have made great memories.” I asked Kadie what her favorite memory of high school was, to which she responded, “Beating Rogersville at home my junior year of volleyball! Best Game ever! The posse dressed up as nerds and it was an amazing experience.” Kadie says that the person that has had the biggest influence on her is her mom, “ She always gives me good advice and pushes me to strive for success. I don't know where I would be without her.” The best advice Kadie ever got was, “Shoot for the moon and even if you fall, you'll land in the stars.” Finally, I asked Kadie what her plans for after high school were and she replied, “Missouri State West Plains and then Nursing School at Cox College.” I asked Kadie if she had any advice for the underclassman to which she said, “Enjoy high school while you can, get involved, have fun, and enjoy the ride because it flies by.” |
