The Wild

Monday, September 12, 2011 By Felicia Vega

Although I was blinded, the forest affected all of my senses. I smelt the fresh cut grass seep into my nostrils after each deep breath I took. I felt as if I was lost in a green wilderness of beauty and relaxation. What I saw was a green darkness that brought peace and love to the universe. The sound of the gentle but violent waterfall was like majestic music to my ears. I felt like I was soaring above a rain cloud looking down at the world that envied where I was. I felt the cool breeze of the rainforest blow its wind on me. I felt that if i had not been so attached to my surroundings i would have simply floated away with the wind. The rainforest opened the door to my sixth sense. Its a feeling i can hardly describe. Its a feeling that overcomes all of my fears and my worries. Its a feeling that paints the pictures of my dreams and sings the songs of my imagination. My sixth sense is love.
