The Lady Hawks improved to 3-1 with a 25-22, 25-21, and 25-22 victory over rival Big Sandy. The Lady Hawks' front row attack was led by Susan Stradley and Kechi Olloh with 5 kills each. Samantha Smith also added 2 kills for Hawkins. Stradley, Olloh, and Smith controlled the net, with 5 blocks, 4 blocks, and 3 blocks, respectively. Kalee Williams had 8 assists and 2 service aces. Kechi Olloh also had 2 service aces. Defensively, Jessica Taylor picked up 14 digs. Abby Davis, Kristina Beason, and Joslyn Thurman-Ford picked up seven digs each. The JV Lady Hawks lost to Big Sandy 25-18, 14-25, and 23-25. |
