The Hawks are 0-4 in district after losing to Big Sandy 56-0. "Big Sandy had the best defense that we played all year," Head Coach Keith Cook said. "We could never get anything going offensively despite 7 different players touching the ball. We even tried a few trick plays to try and change things up a bit, but the only one that worked was our fake punt." Tre’ Alaman did catch 2 passes for 20 yards. Chris Beall completed 5 of 12 passes. Defensively, the Hawks were led by Chris Beall with 15 tackles, followed by Tim McGraw with 14 tackles, 3 pass break-ups, and 1 tackle for a loss. Tre’ Alaman had 11 tackles with 1 tackle for a loss. Jared Betts also had 11 tackles. Michael Kocher had an interception and a pass breakup. |
