Is Tyler the Creator Best New Artist? A new artist named Tyler the Creator won Best New Artist on the 2011 VMA’s. Tyler went against Wiz khalifa and Big Sean. Jeremy Reeves saw the VMA’s. “ Wiz Khalifa should have won because he’s more well known and a better artist,” he said. Jeremy liked the VMA’s “It was pretty good... Lil Wayne’s performance was good,” he said. “I’ve listened to the Tyler the Creator album once or twice.” Since Tyler won the Best New Artist, he’s been getting a lot more fans except for Jeremy. “I hated his songs...they sounded terrible! He sucks!” So then who would like this kind of music then “ That’s a stupid question, who does like him?” If Jeremy dislikes him then do others even like him? “I’m glad Tyler the Creator won, but I don’t know because Big Sean is good too. I went to one of his concerts and he was very good live,” said Kyle Johnson. “ The VMA’s were pretty stupid, actually they were awful,” added Kyle. Tyler has a new album out now that was for the VMA’s. “ I have the new album, its pretty good it got best new artist so I guess its pretty legit,” said Kyle. Now a lot of people classify music in genres but Kyle disagrees. “ I don’t classify music by genres... Tyler is just good.” Kyle thinks that Tyler should have a huge fan base. “ People that would like Tyler the Creator are people that like Eminem, but I don’t know I think everyone should like him because he’s awesome.” Another fan of Tyler is Emily Szatkowski “ I like Tyler The Creator because it’s more of my style of music.” Like Kyle and Jeremy, Emily disliked the VMA’s. “ I always hate the VMA’s they always have an annoying girl singing in the background.” When Emily classifies the people she believes would listen to Tyler the Creator, it doesn’t seem like she’d fit the category. “People that I think would listen to him would be gangsters and alternative people.” |
