The art project displayed in the front hallway was what Mrs. Hornsby and former student intern Ms. Ashley Turner, OBU student had the art classes working on. The idea was called "paper to paper". The project was to take the paper in the teachers’ lounge, grind it up and mix it with water. They let the paper dry with red white and blue coloring then formed the designs on felt. "Amazing how I have one idea and they changed it. Great collaboration there!" Miss Turner stated during the interview. She was impressed with the positive reaction and input the students had on her idea. The project took about five weeks to complete. Invitations were sent to faculty and administration to view the work done by students. The display is set up in the front hallway of the school. |
