It’s the beginning of December, and Alpena has no snow. Is it going to be a green Christmas this year? Some people around town have their Christmas lights up outside, others haven’t even decorated. Alpena has their lights up around downtown, and it looks beautiful. But where is winter? Why isn’t the snow here yet? All Alpena needs is to be a little whiter, a little bit of fluffy, cold snow on the ground. Since there is no snow, families can’t go outside and make snowmen together, or just to have snowball fights. It just isn’t the same. And what is Santa going to do with no snow? He loves to have snow on the ground. It’s always the best part of Christmas, except the presents, of course. |
