What really grinds Savannah's gears?: Stress is bad for health

Thursday, December 15, 2011 By Savannah Peña

Argh! I have been having a lot of homework to do because Christmas vacation is coming soon and I have been stressing out more than usual. So, I tend to lose a lot of important things. This is where ‘What really grinds Savannah’s gears?’ comes in and explains why it really grinds my gears -- even though I’m the one who’s writing this. Stress* is making us lose things that are important: paperwork, cell phones and more. I have recently lost my phone for small moments of time or for a couple of days. It saddens me because I’ve never stressed this much for school before. Comment below if you agree with me. I’ve also lost homework, which lowered a lot of my grades in some in my classes. It is really terrible. I’ve also lost a pen drive with important work, but luckily I found it. I eventually broke that lost pen drive (or maybe not so lucky). So, my aunt bought a new one for me to use and I haven’t lost or broken it yet! Happy me! I don’t think I lost other things other than those two…okay that’s a lie. I have lost many things but they aren’t as important. I mean like losing a shoe from a pair isn’t important to me, but maybe it is to you or something. Stress hasn’t been on the good side of me lately, and I wish I could go back to where I’ve gone days, weeks, months, or even years without this so called ‘stress.’ *Stress- a mental, emotional, or physical strain or tension . [If you didn’t know what stress is, now you do! But seriously, it can also break into acne. So, try and relax when it comes to school or work or even at home, alright?] [Attention: This was written under the influence of a band named Chevelle performing, “The Red.”]
