A Day in the Life of Jamie WindholzMonday, March 05, 2012 By Brooke Martin
Students may think that Jamie Windholz is just the average, everyday eighth grade student. Like many preteen girls, her favorite sport is softball, and her favorite season is summer. Her favorite animal is not a cat or a dog, it’s a giraffe. When she feels like reading, she picks up The Hunger Games ; she’s all about the action. She enjoyed her classes last semester, but claims that this semester they are even better. She likes Italian food and thinks Olive Garden is the best. She spends a lot of her time BMX Racing but manages to keep an A in all of her classes. Jamie is not completely about hard work, sometimes she enjoys riding unicycles. Whenever she ever runs late she finds herself wishing that instead of being on a unicycle, she had the power to fly so she can get where she needs to go faster. Whether she unicycles or flies, by the time she arrives where she is going, her sweet tooth will have kicked in. She might bite into a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles, or maybe she’ll head over to the ice cream bar to cover some vanilla ice cream in chocolate syrup, M&M’s, and sprinkles. Jamie’s hard work won’t end with her high school career. When high school ends she wants to go to MU to play softball. She’s hoping that she will still have enough free time to continue BMX Racing (and unicycle riding). |
