The lacrosse Shamrocks defeated the Tigers from Poplar Level Road last night by a score of 17-10. Eight different Rocks scored, led by Austin Zehnder’s five goals. Michigan signee Brad Lott won 20 of 26 faceoffs. The lacrosse team would like to thank all of the fans who came out to support them. The Rocks continue their traveling ways of seven straight road games with weekend games in Loveland and Mason, Ohio. According to LaxPower, the organization that ranks all lacrosse teams across the country, the varsity lacrosse Rocks are ranked No. 1 in the U.S. The site’s RPI rankings have Trinity ranked ahead of teams from traditional lacrosse states such as Maryland, Colorado, Virginia and New York. |
