Sin Nombre Smiley was really good friends with Casper, but smiley also knew that their gang was like family, and Smiley only wanted to earn his respect in his gang. Getting jumped into MS 13 made Smiley look like he can handle being in the gang, because if you can handle getting beat for your clique, then it shows that you are down with whatever they do. Smiley had a heart for killing his best friend Casper, but he couldn’t let him get away anymore, because the Leaders of MS 13 wanted him dead. Smiley had to kill Casper for his life for the gang. Killing Smiley’s best friend Casper would make him look good in the gang, and will give him more respect from the gang. Killing Casper will save smiley and will make him even more bigger than the MS 13 recruits. Smiley will do anything to keep himself alive, and anything to keep himself part of the gang. Smiley was Traumatized by the gang to not keep any secrets and to do as your told or else your risking your own life. How? If your leaders tell you to do something important like to kill a person that disrespected your clique you will get beat. Basically Smiley had to do what he was told. For his life in MS 13 . Getting beat up and threatened to get killed will make you do things that you don’t want to do, so that you could only stay alive. When Smiley was jumped in at first, He earned his “ Right of passage” which means that he made it in. This means that he took the beating from 8 members of the clique, so the members knew that he was a tough one, and they only want the one’s that are tough and willing to get beat down for the gang. But something about the gang is that, they’re like family and you can’t keep anything from family. You always have to be on their sides, they come first. Just like the saying, “My Family comes first”. Because of a family he had to kill his best friend Casper. |
