Brenda Raney is the english teacher of the high school of Christian Academy. Knowing that she wanted to teach at an early age, Brenda Raney puts in an immense amount of time for preparing lesson plans, grading, and mental preparation for every class. Mrs. Raney strives to see each English student as an individual. Although loving what she does, Mrs. Raney feels that the hardest part of being an English teacher is the amount of time spent on reading papers and assignments. Mrs. Raney feels this sacrifice is needed, due to the fact that English is something students will use for the rest of their lives. “In communicating with others or having to create a document, English will always be something in your life” said the experienced English teacher.. Mary Chandler Butler, one of her students said, “Mrs. Raney is a great teacher. We learn a lot in her class and I’m excited to have her as my English teacher for the remainder of high school.” It is safe to say Christian Academy’s high school English program is in good hands with Mrs. Brenda Raney teaching. |
