What to wear under your cap and gownTuesday, May 01, 2012 By Justin Baptiz
There's nothing like the feeling of the night of your high school graduation. Your all pumped up, your energy's flowing and your heart beat is beating fast. You have now officially set a career for high school. You will now take your talents to college. Everyone who is a senior, and is graduating from high school, will receive a high school diploma. A high school diploma is an award which is earned by the completion of completing high school, supported by the minimum education for government jobs, higher education. When I receive my diploma, I will feel very proud of all my accomplishments and skills that I have learned and have successfully made it my moment of shining bright. There's nothing like the feeling of being proud of your accomplishments. For any high school graduation the attire for graduation is formal. It is a occasion where you will not only represent yourself but for your high school in making them proud. Your attire for graduation should feel comfortable to your own needs. Boys: Do and Don'ts 1. The theme for graduation is simply classy. Black and white is the attire with black slacks, dress shoes, a black tie and a white long sleeve shirt. The shirt should have a collar for the tie to attach to. 2. The biggest don't is simply to not dress tacky. No rubber slippers, no shorts, v neck shirt underneath your cap n gown. 3. Most of all have fun, as this is a very special time in your life. Girls: Do's and Don'ts 1. A must do for shoes could be a problem depending on what to wear. It is recommended that high-heels will not work especially on grass while walking off the stage from graduation. That is considered a don't but instead you can just come to your graduation all ready prepared, so you don't have to go through the wear and tear for being in trouble, getting an argue on. 2. Another great option is to dress with versatility which is considered a must do. The weather on graduation night could be a factor. According to Weather.com, the temperature for May 19th will be 85F in the highs, lows in 64F. Because of that it is especially important to wear clothing that will not cause you to sweat much such as a long sleeve blouse. 3. The don'ts for girls are simple. If your'e going to wear jewelry, make sure it's not an hoop-la earrings, or a earring that could possible get caught in your tassel, because it will hurt. It would be best not to wear earrings but since it is graduation I would recommend to wear earrings that are not long and to keep it short. |
