The Rider Review
Looking AheadWednesday, May 02, 2012 By Kelsey Lemmon Joseph Persina
It's almost time for the seniors to leave Weir High School, and it's been four years coming. The seniors have had plenty of time to think about what they're going to do with their lives, so we decided to ask what those plans were and what their future life would be like. Katie Licause, an eccentric and fun senior, told us what she thought she would be doing in 18 years,"I'll probably be sipping a drink on my yacht in the Mediterranean Sea." She definitely has high hopes for the future. Brandon Chang, the second victim of our interview, was asked what kind of student he thought he'd be in college. "Hopefully, I'll be one that doesn't go to parties," he said, "and actually does the work." Taelor Costello told us about three things on her Bucket List. "I want to go to Italy, I want to go skydiving, and get married and have a family." was her quirky response. Gabe Barber has high hopes for his future. What would he do if he had sufficient money to support himself for the rest of his life? "I would probably buy the New York Jets because I love football, and they're my favorite team." Finally, we interviewed Katie Padden, a memorable character in the class of 2012. We asked her if she thought she'd have the same friends in high school when she graduated. "Yes," she said,"because I know I'll stay in touch with them even though we are going to different schools."
