SENIOR EDITION: A Few Parting Words from Mr. Manish Shah and Mr. Lucas Kosbob

Monday, May 14, 2012 By Taylor Lewis

As the school year comes to a close we say good bye to our beloved class of 2012 with a few parting words from Manish Shah, AP psychology and comparative religions teacher and Lucas Kosbob, 10th grade English teacher. Manish Shah Do you feel you have a special connection with the senior class this year? “I feel the senior class is full of so many characters and I had so many classes last year that I feel that I had the majority of the characters. I myself am a character so I feel like the class and I gelled really well. I had so many great, fun and interesting, times with the senior class and I really love them.” Do you have any advice for the senior class? “I wish there could be a graduation real world speech. If I could tell anything to the whole senior class I would tell them: When you feel scared when you enter into the real world always remember three things: 1. Always have faith 2. Never forget to laugh 3. Follow your passions in life. The best way to survive the real world is to do what makes you happy and nothing else will matter.” Lucas Kosbob Do you feel you have a special connection with the senior class this year? “Yes I do. Part of the reason is because I have taught about 150 students in the senior class, so that gives me a good relationship with them. Also, I know most of the kids, even if they are not my students; I still take the time to get to know them and their names. I don’t know why, but they talk to me and I feel like a have a good relationship with all the kids.” Do you have any advice for the senior class? “My advice would be to be nice and mind your manners. That will get you really far. Also, watch your punctuation, people will respect you more.”
