Obesity in America The obesity rate in America has been increasing for a while because people are not watching their weight when it comes to food. Many people got to McDonald, Wendy’s or other restaurants to eat. The word obese means having too much body fat. Obese people tend to have unhealthy diets and not enough exercise. Obesity can become a serious illness if people keep eating unhealthy food instead of healthy foods and not getting enough exercise. “I had a family member that was obese. He would get sicker and sicker each day and I would tell him to eat healthy,” said Connor Queen, freshmen. Obesity causes a risk of high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and strokes. Obese people should start eating healthy and start planning their daily meals and try not to go to restaurants or any fast food place. People should stay active and exercise more often. Nutritionist studied healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains which improve people’s health and helps the body to get better. As people get older their metabolism slows down, which means they cannot eat as much as they want to for some people. Scientist say women tend to gain Obese people that try to lose weight tend to go through stress more weight than men because pregnancy if they do not lose their baby fat and they tend to keep their weight. At school, some students and teachers believe healthier school lunches should be required lunches. When some people go off campus, they tend to eat at unhealthy fast food restaurant.because all of the problems they are facing when trying to lose weight. “I had a friend that was overweight and it was very hard for him to lose weight because he liked to eat. But I told him it was the best thing for him to do if he wanted to get healthy,” said Olandis Molinini, freshmen. Obese people should try to stay more healthy and do not eat as much junk food as they did before. The obesity in America is increasing more. Obese people should try to go to a doctor if they are struggling or if they need some suggestion on what to do with their weight.
