With the year coming to an end, I cannot help but to reflect upon how amazing this year has been. I have met some great people, have had fantastic teachers, and all in all had a perfect sophomore experience at Rockledge High School. In the beginning of the year, I couldn’t help but feel excluded. Everyone knew each other, I was the new kid in the 10th grade, and yes, I was the “Dean’s Kid.” Now, however, I am not as new, and people actually know my name and not that silly title that I was given upon my arrival here, nor do I feel excluded. This year has very much opened my eyes to how many great people are out there in this big world and in my own community, and I cannot thank everyone enough for this experience. So, here’s to everyone that I have met, and to everyone that I hope to meet next year: Have a great summer, and I cannot wait to see everyone again! |
