Sports distractons

Since most athletes get involved in different sports every season of the year, their schedule can get busy when having to do homework or even students who do one season of a sport still have a busy schedule with practices, games and school work. Some sports are during finals or csts and the weight of stress is put on players shoulders. They have much studying to do but might not have enough time to study at home and most of their free time is taken by the sport that they are doing.“I have outside of school games and terminates that are in the whole week and gets tiring, once I get home I don’t want to think about homework but eventually I’ll do it,” sophomore Yajaira Olozagaste said.Sports have a release time for an away game and players leave their class early and might miss an important lesson or assigned homework that they probably won’t understand once doing it at home so they just leave it aside. When coming home from practice or a game, it may be late by then and the athletes are tired and possibly just crash into their beds. When finishing a long day of practice or a game, it all depends on the player to have the effort to do their homework and get it all done even though they can be exhausted “After getting home from practice, I eat as soon as I get home. then I shower and do any school work that needs to get done,” freshman Andrea Sanchez said.
