Gondos express their "Written Voice"

Monday, May 21, 2012 By Sheila Fallah

Written Voice has been revived by sophomore Annie Furuyama. Written Voice is a literary magazine for Venice students who want to express themselves through creative writing and drawing. Approximately 500 copies of the first issue are expected to be distributed free in early June to various classrooms around school campus, and additionally left in the library for anyone to take. Written Voice meets every Tuesday at lunch in room 243, upstairs in the Far West Building. Although it is too late to submit anything this year, Written Voice will continue on next year. The staff needs student submissions. "Student participation is the foundation of the magazine, and without it, Written Voice would be nothing," says Furuyama. Anonymous submissions are accepted.
