High School Stereotype Titles of Mayfair TeachersTuesday, May 29, 2012 By Diane Choi
Mr. Bacay (economy) “I was right in the middle. I was smart and lazy. I played basketball and golf. I played football for one year and I sucked at it. Everyone thought I was Mexican. Mexican girls liked me a lot.” Mr. Suttle (forensics science) “I was a nerd. All my friends liked outdoors like fishing, hiking, and backpacking. We used to hike and stay out for four to five nights. I tutored in high school, and I was a bus boy in restaurant. That’s where I met my wife.” Mrs. Monteleone (health and link crew) “I was the athlete. I played three sports every year: volleyball, soccer, and softball. I was the athlete of the year. My life revolved around sports.” Mrs. Jacobs (English) “I listened to punk rock in high school, so I was in the punk group of kids. I would say I was a rebel but an under-the-radar nerd.” |
