Don’t you hate it when you save up all your money and wait in long lines for days to by the newest phone? And when you finally bring it home, and figure out how to use it, the newer technology comes out and you feel that it’s just your luck, and these things only happen to you? You aren’t crazy. The iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4s came out only one year and four months from each other. It seems like a long time, but in the world of technology, it’s not. And now, not even one year later, there are rumors of the iPhone 5 coming out. The same is said about the iPad. Each iPad came out literally within a year of each other. So what is to be said about the world of technology today? New technological devices are being produced at a very fast pace. With all the changes in technology, the prices of the products have gone up drastically. Everyone wants the new thing. They want what’s now. The salesmen are always trying to find a way to find out how to make a better profit, everyone is. For example, smartphones are all anyone wants nowadays; flip phones just don’t cut it anymore. Therefore there is a higher demand for smartphones, so their prices go up, un-like the once popular flip phone, which there is not as large of a demand for, so their prices go down. What will happen in the future? At the pace of the changes now, in the future, who knows what the pace of change would be in the future. The years between new inventions could become months or even days! What will also become a problem is the price of the new technology. There are new cars with great options like being able to call someone with even picking up your phone. Those new cars are great products because they limit cell phone use in the car, which makes a drivers commute safer. The one flaw of this product is the price. To be able to get the best thing, money is the key factor. With the growth of the demand of the products, the price will get higher and higher. So what new technology can we keep our eyes out for? Well the iPhone 5 will be coming out very soon, but you never know what new types of cellular devices will come out and you’ll never know when. You can keep saving up your money and buying the new thing, or get a phone that suits you and will last a while. Those decisions are up to you. So go ahead, buy that phone, or doubt buying because what if the newer one comes out right after you buy it. Decisions are decisions, but keep in mind; there are a whole lot of ‘what ifs’ in the world of technology. It’s always changing; always keep that in mind. The world of technology never slows down; the newer phones are always right around the corner. |
