On behalf of the DMHS Counseling Department, we would like to thank all those involved in making the Senior Scholarship Night a success. We had over 40 scholarships presented, totaling and estimated $2,321,250.00! Yes folks…that’s over two million dollars! The four largest contributions came from our 3 Gates Millennium students (Jose Esteban, Patricia Leal-Gutierrez, and Melissa Montes) and the US Naval Academy full ride recipient (Julia Aceves). We are very proud of all our scholarship recipients and their efforts in obtaining these scholarships. We would like to give a special thanks to our Admin team, teachers, and staff who made this evening possible. Thank you to Chapala and Casillas Funeral Home for their generous contribution to help fund the meal. Also a big thanks to Mr. Mendonca and Mr. Toledo CVHS Hospitality Academy for their continued support. We could not have this event without the support and participation of all of these individuals.
