Looking Back at Seventh GradeTuesday, June 05, 2012 By Dillon Ruddell
Looking back at 7 th grade This year was a fun year because it was so different and interesting. When I was in sixth grade getting ready for seventh grade I thought middle school was going to be the hardest ever, but what I realized was that middle school was easier than I thought. I was nervous I would have bad grades because my old school had number grades, one’s, two’s and three’s. I also thought that I would get in more trouble since I was going to have multiple teachers but when I arrived at Olympus I found out that even though I have more teachers I didn’t get in as much trouble, as I did in 6 th grade because there is less time with each teacher. Lastly, I also thought that I would get detention this year for not completed all of my work, but this year I haven’t been in detention at all. In seventh grade I learned so many new things. In science I learned that there are thousands of different types of creatures on earth that are all so different. In history I learned that achievements from earlier times encouraged the achievements and advancements in modern day times. In math I learned that math isn’t just about adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing it is much more than that. Those are the things I learned in seventh grade. The athletics I did in seventh grade excelled to in football and baseball. In football this year I was the quarterback, linebacker, and running back, I led the team in most rushing yards and touchdowns and I led the team in tackles. In Baseball I led the team in batting average, on base percentage, and slugging percentage. Also for baseball I made the pony all stars but I had to drop out because I had vacation. That is how I excelled in athletics this year. This year was the best year of my life and it was the most interesting one. |
