It started with one girl making duck tape pens. Now it is a group of 17 girls and one boy under the guidance of Mrs. Razzano. A couple of weeks ago, this group began selling their hand made pens in the 7th grade lunch. Just recently they began to sell them in the 6th and 8th grade lunch as well. The first donation is going towards the North Brunswick Township Food Bank. So far they were able to earn $202 through lunch sales, and, with new products coming out soon, they hope to raise much more. If you are able to donate any duct tape, Crafts for A Cause is more than happy to accept it (just drop it off in room 817)! All the money they make goes to the food bank as its purpose in gathering, making, and selling duct tape products is all for a good cause. If you have noticed, that is why the name of their philanthropy is Crafts for a Cause. More of their products will be coming out soon including: locker accessories, bracelets, pencil cases, and wallets. Be sure to check them out and buy them for a good cause!
