Libya's president - Shelby Kelder
Advertising
In Libya, people are protesting and trying to survive, while President Gaddafi is trying to maintain his power hold over the country.

From all the unrest and fighting, President Gaddafi fled to Greece. The unrest has killed more than 200 people so far. The protest goes on every day, and the people are going to do it until Gaddafi steps down.

Students have been following what is happening in North Africa.

"It's getting to a point were it's scary, and Gaddafi needs to stop provoking and do something or step down," said Clover High student Ashley Osborne.

"When the government ceases to work for the people, the people have an obligation to take over," says Spanish teacher Rebecca Boyd. "As the protests go on, people will just be getting scared and tired of waiting."
