Homecoming week was a blast! Well, until the Friday flood that caused the football game and dance to be canceled! Let’s look back on the week  just in case you forgot.
Monday was wacky bottom day on account of it being picture day and the pictures are only the top half of your body. Let’s not forget about Mr. Hodges’ very wacky Hawaiian shorts. Way to go Mr. Hodges! Monday was also the night of coronation. Crowned queen was Jordan Blakeslee and the king was Nathan Zibolski.
Tuesday was Class Color Day. There was also a talent show during second hour. There were some pretty neat talents, but only one could win.  The lucky ones were Seniors Nick Swanson, Tim Miller, and Patrick Daniels who sang “Jump Around,”
Wednesday was “Blast From the Past” and Dress a Senior.  Boy, were there a lot of people from the 80’s! The seniors were looking pretty fine also.  Who could forget Seniors Sean Serres snd Hannah Phelps as Mr. and Mrs. Buzz Lightyear?   Fear Factor took place during third hour.  Eight Daring souls drank a McDonalds Happy Meal, dug through pools of mud and minnows, were covered in shaving cream, and broke pinatas.  Sean Serres beat his little sister Sophomore Allie Serres in the last challenge.
Thursday was Western day. The most memorable outfit was the boy riding his blow up bull. We had the Power Puff volleyball game during fourth hour. It was raining all day so the volleyball game, cross country meet, and tennis match were canceled
Friday was Bomber spirit day. It was also flood day. In the morning, kids were let out of school to help sand bag.  Way to go guys! Students were able to have a few of their class competitions and watch the pepfest before school was let out early and the dance and footbal game were ostponed. The football game was rescheduled for Saturday at one.   When the Bombers finally played, they won  45 to 21. Student Council has rescheduled almost all of the homecoming festivities for October 14th and 15th.
