During both lunches on May 3, a summer job faire was held in the main quad. Local employers at the event included: the Auburn Recreational District, Auburn Nature Center, Baskin Robbins, Mc Donald’s, Colfax City of Commerce, a River Rafting company, United Way, Placer County Internships, The Red Cross, Buzz through Joes, and the local Hospice. Bobby Joe Forsyth got the idea of a job faire from a similar faire she attended at Woodcreek High School. All the employers thought the students were great, and Mrs. Forsyth said “I would definitely do it again”, and hopes this job faire becomes a yearly event.
