Mr. Mustang took place on May 4th in the Sunrise Mountain Auditorium. Ty Boulos won as Mr. Mustang, and Chris Garcia was the runner up. The male beauty pageant had lots of success among students, and the crowd was bigger than it had been in previous years.

“I was super excited about Mr. Mustang, but all I really wanted was to make it past the first cut. I never thought that I would win the entire thing,” said Ty Boulos.

Boulos unicycled for his talent and made the crowd laugh with his entertaining answers during the dating questions. Meanwhile, Garcia surprised the crowd with his dance moves. All the boys provided great entertainment for the crowd in their group dance, muscle flexes and formal wear.

“I was really happy with the way it turned out, though we had some technical difficulties at first. All the boys did really well,” said committee chair person Brittany Bade.
