Last night, June 3, 2010, the annual National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony was held. There were 40 new members in grade 7, and 7 new members in grade 8. The ceremony started with a welcoming by speaker Mackenzie Comeau. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Collin Sovie. All National Junior Honor Society members are required to do the NJHS Pledge, this was led by Erica Chase. A slide show showing things NJHS does, and have done, was shown by Vincent Molinari. The annual candle lighting was done after the slide show. Sarah Barr introduced the new members of the 8^th grade. Cynthia Buscemi and Jessica Logan introduced the new members of the 7^th grade. Speakers in the ceremony were Kevin Kendall, Principal of grades 7 & 8; guest speaker, D.J. Swan;  Assistant Superintendent, David Valois, and closing remarks from Melissa Burns, the Advisor. New members in the 7^th Grade were Mollee Ahrens, Zachary Ashley, Jared Berg, Ryan Bouchard, Hallie Boyer, Mikayla Charlton, Emily Cline, Burke Comeau, Janell Cordwell, Elna Daby, Kayli Downie, Tyler Eaton, Dylan Fifield, Morgan Gagnon, Frederick Given, Emma Hart, Sky Hoover, Laken Kelly, Kinnon LaRose, Riley Luckie, Jack Manke, Zoe Martin, Grace Mashaw, Jordan R. Miller, Tristan Moore, Kelsie Moquin, Austin Morley-Sloan, Susan Morrow, Nathan Peo, Seth Pinkerton, David Prudhomme, Andrew Putman, Brooke Richardson, Sarah Richer, Justin Ross, Nolan Rufa, Courtney Sherwin, Jacob Sias, Ashley Sovie, and Nathaniel Stowe. There were seven new members in the 8^th Grade, Tanner Bjork, Alexander Cole, Camille Marshall, Paige McCarney, Jedidiah McRoberts, Cheyenne Tyo, and Alex Weber. Congratulations to all new members.
