The Juniors here at Ringgold High School have a very responsible task in the months of March and April. We have to take the PSSAs, or  the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment. The PSSAs are divided into four subjects, math, reading, writing, and science. We took the math and reading a few weeks ago and the writing and science coming up in April. As a junior, I thought the PSSAs were easy, as long as you focus and try your best. In my case, Mr. Harris and Mr. Szalay prepared me for the math and reading so it was so much easier, as I'm sure all the english and math teachers for juniors did. It was ok if we didn't know some of the problems, the purpose of the test is to see what we do and don't know, and how well we understand the subjects. This is our time to show how smart we are. The class of 2012 did awesome on the PSSAs last year, we have to keep it going. We are the class of 2013, let us make this district proud.
