As you begin this school year, there is a new face you should learn. Ms. Layton is the new band director here at North County and already she is following in our prior director, Mr. Schunks' footsteps by making the band work to their potential. 
    She came here from Potosi where she worked as an assistant band director.  Here, she does both beginner and high school bands. She said that she was excited to come to North County and loves working with a good committed band program. She also believes the band will do very well this year.
