1)How do I find a good summer job?
Everyone always crams at the last minute to find the perfect job for summer break. Remember, you are going to be there a lot so whether you like it is rather important. As long as you keep these few tips in mind, you are ensured to find the most perfect job.
Summer is the warmest time of year, and a large portion of it is spent outside because it is so nice. If you are one of those people who like to spend time outside, being inside for work is possibly not the best idea for you.
You need to think about the people you want to be around. Whether it is children or adults, professional or not so professional, young or old?
For most of the teenagers money is the reason we are working, so the pay definitely factors in. Everything cost money now-a-days; gas, food, clothes, education and parents can’t pay for everything.
Keep in mind, work is a part of life, everyone, sooner or later, reaches the point where they need a job. As long as you are happy with it and don’t dread waking up every work morning then you have been successful.
2) How do I know if it is real love or just summer love?
It will be the look. Chances are it is summer love because the mood in the air is different during summer. But, if he gives you that look or you catch him looking at you when you are staring into the distance, it is love.
Summer love is a tricky thing. You want to keep your doors open, but if a good opportunity presents itself take it! Don’t second guess it because once you do, your opportunity may be gone forever.
Some of our best memories will come from the long Virginia summers and the crazy stories that are created in the hot summer moments; you will always look back on these days, so make them memorable.
If it is just summer love, don’t sweat it. Everyone’s time comes, some just take a little longer than others. Allow yourself to be free this summer so then you can just go with the flow and see what happens. You never know how things might turn out.
Trust me, I know it is hard to see the cute couples at the beach and riding with the windows down to get ice cream, but remember the people you do have.
Friends will always be there for you, but relationships come and go. Let go and let love happen, take a chance, live for the moment. It may end badly, but in the end you won’t regret it. All and all, at least you had the experience. Better to love and lose than to never have loved at all.
