It has come to attention that the 2005 NBA finals has been getting more intense each week as more teams get eliminated The final four teams are San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns in the western finals and Miami Heats vs. Detroit Pistons in the eastern final.

In the eastern finals, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat lost game 1 to Chauncey Billups and the Detroit Pistons. In game 1, multiple players on the Detroit Pistons scored double digit. For the Miami Heat, few players scored double digits, while many slacked off.

Meanwhile, in the western finals, Steven Nash and the Phoenix Suns were down 2 games to Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs, making the series 2-0. Shawn Marion from the Phoenix Suns recently received an injured wrist, forcing the Phoenix Suns to have a disadvantage in scoring points. In the two games, the San Antonio Spurs really played at their best, winning more than points in the first game.

Baruch students disagree about who will win in the end. Barry Underwood, a junior from BCCHS was quoted saying “it’s unbelievable how Spurs won 2 games in a row."

Steven Zhang, another junior from BCCHS said, “I still think Heat is still going to win”

“All I want is either Heat or Pistons wins the final," said Peter Zhao, a sophomore.

As the NBA Finals continues, two teams will go home and 2 teams will go to the final, who will it be?
