Last Thursday Arrowhead defeated 13 other high schools at the 31st Annual Business Skill Olympics.
With 19 trophies and 71 points total, the students dominated in categories ranging from Advanced Accounting to Business Law. The first place winners included Jake Zumallen (Database Applications), Stuart Randall (Advanced Accounting), Donald Swade (Computer Theory), and Sarah Dufrane (Job Application). The runners-up were Chris Franklin (Advanced Accounting), Susan Pfitzinger (Business Communications), and Mike Farina (International Business). Rob Henkel (Advanced Accounting) finished 3rd, while Kallie Graff (Advanced Accounting), Karlee Miller (Business Law), and Dan Linnell (Public Speaking) all earned a respectable 4th place finish. Last but not least, Storey Heisdorf (Business Communications) and Andrew Feder (Spreadsheet Applications) came in 5th. Congratulations to all those who participated; you made your school proud.
