The Lurman Woodland Theater, located on the grounds of CHS, is the venue for a summer concert series.  An eclectic mix of groups ranging from jazz to country to rock to “hillbilly” and barbershop perform from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on most Saturday and Sunday nights during the months of June, July, and August.  

Programs are family friendly.  Parents bring chairs or blankets to sit on the grassy hill leading down to the stage and listen while their kids play in the “kids area” just off to the side.  Most attendees consider it a great evening for all.

The CHS Steel Band will be playing tomorrow night to open the series.  CHS pan-playing alumni will be joining current bad members to augment the band for the performance.
