As the end of the 2003-2004 school year comes closer, special events start to be planned. About the last two weeks of school students become anxious, ready for school to come to and end. Many people have been asking about the different upcoming events that CCHS have planned for the end of the year. Curt Haun principal at Carroll County High school says “Really there is nothing planned, seniors will have graduation practice on the last day of school and awards will be given out to students on the last day of school during their B block class. Other then that we don’t have anything else planned.” The Question was asked if there would be a field day. When Haun answered the question Haun said, “No one has said anything to me about planning a field day so no.” The question was still wondering around the school if there would be a field day, so Sheree Richter Counselor at Carroll County High school approached the question and said “No field day as far as I know” Richter continued to say that no one has contacted her or principal Haun about this questions. Kirstie Brown a freshman from Carroll County High school says, “I think that not having a field day is going to be boring. There is nothing fun planned for the end of the year. It is going to be one boring end of the year.” Heather Morgan a Junior at Carroll County High School says “All student who tested need some kind of an award for putting in a good effort and abiding by the “good faith policy” field day has always been part of that award, why not this year?”

Haun says that nothing else has been planned for the end of the year. Changes can be made and there is a possibility of field day but as of right now No. Even with the possibility of field day students at CCHS are not happy about this years ending.
