Expectations are like goals because they are something you want to do, but differ from goals because they are something you expect from yourself.

Expectations differ throughout the grades but are somewhat similar at the same time; they range from life expectations to everyday expectations. Senior expectations are based upon getting into the college they want and achieving what it takes to get the career of their choice. Junior expectations are more around getting good grades and learning as much as they can to pass their exit level exam, TAKS. Sophomore expectations are more relaxed and just about making it through school and having a good life. Freshmen are a little new at it, so their expectations are based on just being their best in everything they do, establishing themselves in their school, and passing their classes.
