As I now graduate and leave Pleasant Valley High School, as the end of the world draws near, I hereby entrust science instructor, Mrs. Bertapelle, to my youngest and only sister, sophomore Macy Castaneda. I have greatly enjoyed my time at PV, but now it is time for me to depart. SEE YOU VIKINGS!

I will my responsibilities as senior setter and volleyball captain to Nicole Efseaff, junior setter extraordinaire! Keep ‘em in line! Especially Lauren Grant…FOCUS!

Hayley Ennis

To Laney Nelson I will the ability to succeed without ever lifting a finger, and my love of calculus. My honor as Laney’s #1 fan goes to Megan Loy and Emily McKalip. I will Gracie Hernandez to keep my brother in line, but when that fails, Emily McKalip can take over. I also will Gracie my ability to influence assignments’ due dates. I will Laney and Emily to keep the situation going… somehow. To Kyle, I will the choice to leave for school at whatever time he pleases, and to thrive at PV. To all PV students, I will my love for all of the teachers and staff who took such good care of me.

 

Maddie Gray

To Kena Barker I will snug sessions. Logan Wolfe gets my super cool car key. To Brenna Meier I will Parmesan cheese. Laney Nelson inherits my British accent. Grace gets my ladylike skills, the industrial city and shotgun for Tuesday lunches. To the dream team I will the best of luck. Next season is all yours. And to all my swimming family I give you my tan lines. I won’t be seeing much of the sun anymore.

 

Jane Hogan

I leave my seat in drama, Elle, and judgmental critiques to Meghan Thayer. I leave the Doctor, Torchwood Institute, Art Studio, four knocks, the sound of drums, Thisbe Ophelia, and Timshel to Beka Wilmes. Sonia Alvarado: I leave the first row in English class, and the sound promise that she doesn’t need much else because I WILL be coming back for her. I leave Clockwork, creepers, baked goods, weird movies, and awkward art to Israel Guevarra. I leave Maggie the cat to Taylor Knott- you can have the dress too! To all drama freshman and sophomores: leave your Summer Seminar in Ashland!

 

Mark Jaradeh

I will my thugnificent neon jersey to Noah Heinemann. Noah, Melanie Hickman, & Sean Thomas get my running abilities which they will utilize better than I ever could. I will my ability to stay awake for several nights to all of the IB candidates. Lastly, I will the XC team determination to beat Chico.

 

Mehr Kaur

I will to Selena Gonzalez the frustration and rewards associated with leading the Academic Decathlon team. To Bisman, I will the successes that come from persistent hard work. To the 2013 IB class, I will the stress and sleepless nights associated with IA’s and IB in general.

 

James Makel

I will my height to Mr. Vought so he won’t be a little leprechaun anymore. I will my dunking ability to Zach Eldredge so he can dominate next year. I will my epic dance moves to the Class of 2013, good luck with the new policy…I will everything else I have to my sister, Natalie, you’re awesome.

 

Reece Mathiesen

I will the grand piano to Cheyenne and Shannon so they can continue playing awesome music. I give my share of chores to my brother, Blake, and my sister, Carly. I will my history notes to Jacob Mackell and my love of Japanese to all of the Japanese 4 students. I lastly will the cure to senioritis to new seniors.

 

Tonia Mubaraka

I will my varsity boys’ baseball page and my basketball and football Homecoming pages to Madison Hamor. Don’t forget to enjoy "the view." I will my locker to Sierra Tuitele. Try to actually use it this year. It will come in handy. And I will my charisma to Megan Thayer. Mini me, I will miss you.

 

Kassie Ramirez

I, Kassie Ramirez will my amazing hair and hair skills along with my teasing comb to my mini me’s, Seryna Aceves and Carli Wright. I also will my cheerleading skills to Paige Calvert and Colleen Madsen. I will my not-so-amazing great driving skills and my car "Big Pimpin’" to Megan Duran. I will my sarcastic remarks and dirty looks to Malissa Prosise and Sydney Holderbein. I will all my dresses to Jadie Sweitanski. I will all my love to Dakota Webster, because he’s my teddy bear. Lastly, I will my closet to Mari Vallejo and my lunch adventure ideas to Vanessa Lopez. That’s it! <3

Student Government: remember to hold true to our core principals, you joined the class for a reason, so prove yourselves worthy. Ciena, Taryn, Phoenix, and Jadie: stay out of trouble. Lupton, Finney, and Mattea: I will my bubbly attitude and smiles—keep your heads up. Nimrat, Gracie, and Alan: I will my Camp Royal experience. Tashi Deley! Gracie: I will you the gift of being awkward and making weird noises. Nimrat: I will the leadership of Interact, monthly three hour drives to District Council meetings in the Bay Area, and Louie Lin. Jaylee, Gabby, and Laney: I will the memories of our trip to Costa Rica and the joy of Pretty Little Liars. Andy, Lindsey, and Remi: I will the jokes from our Costa Rica trip—make Victor proud.
