When one thinks of Dave Matthews (of Dave Matthews Band fame), thoughts of a charismatic, environmentally concerned pacifist usually come to mind. After all, he has been one of the main pillars of Vote For Change and Farm Aid. After closer examination, however, only a quote from Matthews himself seems to truly portray what he is really about. A little research on Ticketmaster's website (www.ticketmaster.com) reveals that Matthews does indeed understand the American Capitalist Spirit. Supply and Demand: When you are in one of the most successful bands in America, and the cheapest tickets avavilable to your concert are $40 (!), then there is lots of money to be made.
