On Friday, September 25, 2009, students who had good behavior and turned in homework for the first quarter went on an incentive trip to the Havana Park. School was to be dismissed at 11:30 that day, so students got onto the busses as soon as school started and arrived back at the school just ten minutes before school let out.

Senior AJ Hamm said, “It was fun, but it would have been better if it wasn’t rainy.” At the park, students enjoyed themselves by talking and hanging out with friends and by climbing on the equipment, digging in the sand, playing basket ball or card games, and trying to stay dry.
