On April 20, the JV girls soccer team hosted the Rocklin Thunder on Hansen Field. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.

“We were really affected by the heat but we played way better this game than our first meeting with them,” said Jenna Stafford.

Roseville hosted cross-town rival, the Woodcreek Timberwolves on April 18.

Roseville played hard but the game ended in 1-1 tie.

“We played really well,” said head coach Paul Stewart.

Coming off spring break, the team traveled over to Loomis to face off with the Del Oro Golden Eagles. This game also ended in a tie.

“We got lucky we came out with a draw after being down 2-1,” said Stewart.

Roseville scored first with a cross from freshmen Michelle Dobler and Kelsey Ostapotovich and heading into halftime, the Lady Tigers had a 1-0 lead. In the second half, a Del Oro striker came out hot and scored two goals. Roseville trailing by one, sophomore Nicole Lucasko took a penalty shot out from 30 yards and put it in the back of the net to get the tie.
