The FBLA put on the carnival for the children as a service project.

Laughter and the shouts of children filled the halls of Tahoma Senior High School on Thursday October, 29th during the FBLA carnival. The children rushed into the cafeteria of the school to the sight of games, costumes and good fun. Everywhere you looked there were costumes and parents escorting children to the various games that were set up around the facility. Echoing in the halls all around were the sounds of laughing and the screaming emitting from the haunted house.

The carnival was extremely fun for the children and parents who came to the school. Everywhere you turned there were smiling children that were having a blast at this carnival. The kids were running around between all the games on their candy sugar rush. There were games that had you rope a bull, throw a basket ball through a hoop and hop over the finish line in a potato bag. Every kid there was having a blast, even the FBLA hosts who were overseeing the event. The various activities were all manned by smiling, inviting students who were great around the youngest of children. Most of the activities would give you candy for participating but some you had to work to win, unlike the haunted house where you ventured through simply for fun.

Even though the TSA haunted house was not geared towards the older aged participants there were still a couple of good jumps and scares that made it fun for people. The haunted house was mainly for the families who attended the carnival that Thursday night. Many of the children who wandered through the haunted house would get scared to the point where they had to have their parents hold their hand to walk them through the haunted mat room. There were even some strong minded, scare proof kids who would come back over and over to go through the haunted house. The haunted house was a blast for the FBLA carnival attendees and the parents who brought them through the room of doom. Over all the entire carnival had lots of work put into its creation and it paid off in the end when the children left with a huge smiles on their faces and candy in their pockets.
