The Greenie presents …The Economy  by kids!

Hi, it’s me, Sydney Gold. I am a third grade girl here to talk about the economy, by kids.

According to the Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, the economy is: 1) the management of household or private affairs and the management and\or the structure of the economic life in a country.  The economy is a very important but very delicate system and it can crash really easily. It is the balance of stocks, bills and credit card debt (you know the stuff that gets your parents in such a bad mood, that stuff) .

Now let’s hear what kids think about, well you know, the economy.   Here are some ideas from some Lower School students Camille Patton and Laine Nowak.

Now, here is Camille's interview :

Q .If you could change anything for the American middle and lower classes, what would it be?

A. Probably stop taxes for one whole year to let people keep a little more of their hard earned cash  . {ha !! J J  }

Q. If you could give all adults one thing, what would that thing be?

A. Most likely 500$ to be spent on food and pay the bills like medical coverage and credit card debt.

Q .If you could give one thing to all kids what would it be ?

A. Probably a few hundred books. All you need is to read !!

Q. And if you were to take _______ amount of cash from the five richest people in world how much would you take?

  1. Most likely 500$ and is that all you need?

Yes it is. Thank you .

Now here is my good friend Laine’s interview :

Q. If you could change anything for the American middle and lower classes, what would it be ?

A. Most likely 500$ dollars to give to people and help them out.

Q. If you could give all adults in America one thing what would it be?

A. Hmmm … I think it would be $50.

Q. If you could give every kid something, what would that thing be?

A. Five or so books so that they can read . I mean who doesn’t love to read?

I know I do.

Q. And if you could take ______amount of money from the five richest people in the world what would the amount be?

A. Umm … 50 or so dollars.

Now I hope the interviews were good and you enjoyed them.
