I’m pretty sure EVERYONE has a best-friend(s) or at-least someone they know they can trust. I have three best friends, Alexa, Arlen, and Zaira, and I cannot seem to live without them. I know I can go to them for anything and almost everything. My best friends and I have been through it all: the tears, the laughter’s, the moments where we just couldn’t stand each other, etc.
I’ve known Alexa since we were in diapers, and I barley met Arlen and Zaira in the 6th grade, but it seems like I’ve known them forever.
We would always say that we were going to be together forever until death do us part (as we would say) but that all changed the day we got our schedules. Alexa and Zaira now attend United High School, and Arlen and I attend J.W. Nixon High School.
Knowing that we were officially separated was one of the hardest things I’ve gone through so far. All the things we been through brought us so close, we were practically glued together. I knew it was going to come sooner or later, but I would’ve preferred later. No matter if we’re in different districts now we’ll always be four peas in a pod. “If we made it through middle school, we can make it through high school...together.” ♥
