My parents tell me to stop watching cartoons because I’m already grown up.
I can’t help it I like watching cartoons especially with my brothers and sisters. I sit with them on the couch and watch our favorite cartoon which is Johnny Test. We have our favorite cartoons, but I let them watch what they like. When it’s my turn to watch cartoons I like to watch Invaders Zim, Speed Racer, and many more.
The reason why I watch Johnny Test, Speed Racer, and Invaders Zim is because these types of cartoons have action and are funny.
For example, Johnny Test is about a kid whose dog can talk thanks to his scientist sisters. He enjoys his childhood everyday which is a no ordinary childhood. Sometimes he does really crazy things with his sisters' invention and he always has to clean up before dinner or else he gets grounded. To me its funny because even though he tries so hard not to get in trouble in the end he does get in trouble and is grounded.
Invaders Zim is an old cartoon the network stopped showing until finally somebody decided to air it again. It's about an alien and his sidekick, a robot name Gir, who dresses up as a dog to blend in with the humans. Zim's main goal is to take over the earth, but he has a problem. A kid named Gibbs finds out who he is really and tries to stop his evil plans which sometimes he succeeds at, or fails. The show is mainly funny thanks to Gir, because in every episode he is always doing something hilarious.
The final show is a classic cartoon that was remade into our generation, my favorite cartoon, which is Speed Racer. It's about a teen named Speed after his father who is a legendary racer, who went missing. Speed doesn't find out about his father until his uncle, who is the principal of a school, tells him. Speed goes to study Racing. Speed then realizes his true potential in racing and he is just like his father. So during his stay at the school he makes friends and so meets his brother X, who was also surprised to learn he had a brother. Soon both of them become close as a family. The cartoon is ok. I would prefer to see the original Speed Racer then the remade, but to me its alright.
Yeah sure I’m big already and cartoons seem to be only for kids, but hey enjoy them while you can. That’s what I’m doing. So I admit to everyone that I watch cartoons, but hey who cares?
