Christmas is now over and now students are returning to school to start off second semester, which only means that first semester half credit you already have now the only thing that is missing is this years other half credit to make one full credit.

Last year I took health which was by the way awesome and I had fun. We wrote notes for half the class on diseases, then after we were done we wrote a journal which was the same “How was your day?” Once we were done with the journal we turn the journal in then the rest of the day we just sat and talked until the bell rang. We usually only had like five or ten minutes to chat. Our health teacher Mr. Gutierrez is a funny teacher. He would joke around with us. I would sure like to take his class again.

Now for my second semester I’m taking Laredo History. This class is about how Laredo was founded and made into the city it is today. So far it’s my third day in class and I kind of enjoy it. The students there enjoy the class a lot. The teacher Mr. Ruiz is a funny teacher. He likes to joke around with us also and when we work he puts random music on for us to listen to while we finish off our assignments.

I’m looking forward for the rest of the year taking Laredo History. I wonder what Ruiz has in store for us on learning about the history of Laredo.
