Adults complain about how kids/teenagers are never serious about anything. But when we teenagers are trying to be serious about something the line “you’re still a little kid” comes out of adult’s mouth.

It frustrates me. Today someone was complaining about how we’re in high school already and we need to get serious, yes I understand that. But look at it this way, we’re just taking advantage of the time we have as being teenagers not adults.

My modo is “if you’re always grumpy at a young age by the time you’re 20 years old you’re already going to have wrinkles.” I’m a teenager, but to adults I’m just a kid. If I’m so much of a kid, let me and everyone around me about the same age enjoy our little time of being young. Who wants to be so serious all the time? And it’s not that we’re immature. We just want to have fun, what kid/teenager doesn’t?

I’m just saying. Yes, we’re in high school. Yes, we have to get serious, but theres always time to goof around.

Let teenagers be teenagers.
