I was web searching over the Internet yesterday after school on my laptop and accidently popped into Yahoo.com and saw this headline, “If Disney Princesses Were Real: Part 1.”
I was amazed by what I saw.
A 22-year-old male artist named Jirka Väätäinen is making Disney Princesses come to life!
His work is just amazing to see and look at, especially Jasmine and Pocahontas.
He’s a student of some type of art school in UK; graphic design student combined photos of real women with Disney's classic cartoon translating them by using Photoshop and created digital paintings that brought everyone from Sleeping Beauty to Princess Jasmine to life.
That’s what I read in Yahoo.com in “Shine.”
Shine is a bog site/magazine site from Yahoo.com and let others read articles and such more, including Jirka’s art.
“Shine featured his work and 14,000 Facebook likes later, Jirka's art was a viral sensation.”
This line came from the article written by Piper Weiss; a Shine staff writer.
You can also see his work on Tumblr.com, and it has been shared by over 100,000 users.
I also read that he hasn’t turned his passion into a profit; I guess because of copyright.
If you want to see more of his works just click on his name and it will directly take you to another site with all his works.
